Distance Healing

Distance healing is used to cross any distance in time or space. Distance Reiki works according to an ancient principle called Hermetic Law of Similarity, which holds that we are all made of energy and part of large whole (Universal Energy). Invoking this law during a distance Reiki session allows the practitioner to link up to the energy field of the recipient. We all have access to the life force energy, that flows through each and every living being. Distance Reiki is one of many ways to link and channel this energy for the healing benefit of others.

The healing effect is same as in person(direct) and distance healing. When I'm performing Reiki on someone who is not present, I'll typically work with the recipient's photo and a healing crystal. Often the photo carries the same aura of the person. Most of the time, distance healing sessions will be done over the phone call, so that recipient can observe the healing energy and give the feedback on reducing intensity of the health issue.

Even if the recipient is not available over phone during the session, the healing energy works with same effect just like the air energy works while breathing even if we are not observing it. 

Please note that no telecommunication connection is required for Reiki, as Energy can be send to anyone by solely directing the Thoughts and Energy to the receiver. It is just transmitted using the practitioner's intention to send it and the client's intention to receive it.
